The photograph above was taken in one of the many reading rooms in the Trinity College Library in Dublin Ireland. The Trinity College Library is the largest library in Ireland and also serves as the legal repository for copyrighted works in Ireland. The library, built in 1592, now contains over 6 million printed volumes including the famous Book of Kells which contains the four Gospels of the New Testament and was written about 800 AD.
Fortunately, you do not need a library like this one to get interesting information about intellectual property as so much is on the internet. However, beware! There are many invention promotion companies out there asking for thousands of dollars up front without providing you with any legal rights. I have consulted with many inventors that have signed agreements with such companies without anything to show in return. See my IP Websites page for more information on this important topic.
